What this site collects
Nothing directly. There are no accounts, no forms, no newsletter, and no cookies set by the site itself.
Hosting logs
The host serving these pages records standard request logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) for security and abuse prevention. They are not used to build visitor profiles and are retained according to that host's policy.
Advertising
These pages are supported by advertising, and the ads are served by Google and other third-party vendors. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site; those cookies and similar identifiers let the vendor and its partners select ads, measure how they performed, and limit how often the same ad is shown to you. You can review or turn off personalised advertising in your Google Ads Settings, and you can opt out of personalised advertising from many other vendors at aboutads.info or, in the EU, at youronlinechoices.eu. Visitors in the EU, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalised advertising is used, and refusing consent leaves the pages fully readable. Where a page has no advertising, the pages behave exactly as they always did: the advertising code loads nothing into the text, and the guides are never written around it.

Your rights

Since this site stores nothing itself, such a request is normally answered by confirming that, and where relevant by pointing to the host's and the ad network's own processes.
